Life is a gamble.......nahi kya!!

I spoke to someone yesterday who told me what a dodo I was to leave a steady job and get into stock-trading and lose money and become a laughing stock.

Well everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, I live life thoda Hatke... :))

On a serious note...
"One should always pursue your dreams if you don't, they will always come back to haunt you"

I did lose money, but trust me the thrill and excitment of day trading it next only to a Indo-Pak match in the last 5 overs. Besides I have my NCFM certification valid for 5 years and I have rented it to some broker :))
Some of the people whom I find cool are

  • People who are well read.
  • People who are opinionated and will stick to their stand.
  • People who made money legally
  • People who are good with numbers (mathematics, futures, options, lotto's, matka etc)
  • People who did things to prove others wrong
  • People who reply promptly (SMS,email, phone calls)
  • People who have not let failures stop their conquest of life
  • People who respect other people's time.
  • People who have lived on the edge and ends of life and made it reasonably well.
  • People who are crazy, have out of the box ideas and inventions.
  • People who tell good jokes
  • People who think India rocks and Bombay Lives on....
If you fit in any of these list, you are cool for me :))

Digging Bombay

There is a very popular saying in Bombay "Bombay mein do cheez kabhi bandh nahi hoti... Ra## ki Chu@@@ aur Road ki Khudai"

Indian express has documented it well and this is what it says on Mumbai Metropolitan Road Digging Authority

It Sockss!!

While shifting to my new place a big packet of Socks juss vanished, There was chaos in my house and a search warrant had to be issued my dad, mom and me all trying to trace the missing socks. Finally I decided fuck it, ... Idea!!! I can borrow socks from my friend Amol who happened to be in town at the right moment to catch a train to Bangalore.
I went to work like a Bhaiyya, psued shoes wid no socks... thought of buying a pair at Borivali station but no shop was open. The good Samaritan that Amol is, got a pair of socks for me , I wore them in office.
Then my dad knowing my great ability to forget reminded me to buy some socks. I go to Asiatic, the dept. store in Churchgate.. the salesman showed all kinda stupid socks from adidas to Ulhasnagar ka maal ... all freaking expensive 100-150 per pair, he also offered me a discount pack of 3 for 300..... Stuff was good but no point buying it if your are gonna lose it or it vanishes into oblivion ... I tell him "I'll be back"
There is a hawker outside the Churchgate subway..... I buy 6 pairs for 90 bucks!!

I always wonder where all the socks of the world must be hiding??

Vada-Pav ........Unification Snack of Bombay!!

You may ask wots da big deal about the vada-pav, well I think its the only true symbol of Bombay and is indeed cosmopolitan from every possible angle.

The marathi Manoos makes the vada.
The Moslem makes the Pav.
The Parsi-Irani most probably owns the Bakery that makes the pav.
The Goan is called Pavwallah.
You,me and 14 million other Bombayites eat the Vada Pav every other day.

Can you show me anyother food or snack jo itna kuch karta hai??

My Best Vada Pav joints
1. Outside Mithibai college - Wid butter, green chutney, sauce, rocket chutney
2. Sri Krishna, Dadar - only vada no pav, but ek dum mast... .
3. Jumbo Vada Pav, Thane - Jumbo wid lotsa Kanda
4. Outside CTO office, Fountain - Hot and tasty eat with the mirchi.
5. Outside Dadar Stn (platform #1) - Sukha chutney is asli Ghati masala with lasun (garlic)

I haven't tried the Jumbo Vada pav from the franchises around the city, so dunno how it is... Its said to be made perfect and untouched by humans, I guess that could be the reason Bombay doesn't eat it :))

Clue : 3 wheels
Post your answers on the comments column?

Naya Trains for Bombaywallahs......

The so called new trains..... major Ch*$*$Pankthi....Its the same old train with some delta steel covering over the existing body and a new plastic-rubber handles, bars of steel are really weak and the trains wont last for more than 6-8 months in Bombay's crowd.
totally Thookpatti ka kaam hai...As if they have taken some Kadiya's and Welders to make a train for millions of commuters who criss cross between Match box homes and cramped offices on a daily basis.

Book Wallah's fight on.. hum tumare saath hai!!

I feel really bad for the book sellers in Fountain,Oval Maidan area whom the BMC is driving away due to some High Court order, These guys were always a part of the Bombay we all know, where else could you get the Da Vinci Code for 50 Bucks or the Harry Potter series for 200 bucks. I think this is all part of the biggies Oxford, Crossroads and Magna who want these guys out of business who really make a great impact on their bottom line.
I will not buy books from Oxford or Crossroads as a mark of protest..... Maybe if I get some book free I may change my mind :))
BMC guys also don't deserve any baksheesh for spoiling n trampling the books.

Here's what Mid-day has to say
Hawkers' novel idea: a books-only zone

Wasting time in Office.......do it here :))

Back in da colony

2 days widout the internet connection and I was feeling like I'm in the stone age... just moved to a new house in I.C Colony, Borivali, a place where I lived since childhood. The house is kinda mess as if some tornado hit our house... Infinite raddi paper and furniture left behind by the earlier owner... I have to clean up the mess and set my things...
The new internet connection from Pacenet is damn good 64 kbps unlimited at 925 bucks,
At work tomorrow I have to outline a plan to my team to push our sales. I'm working on the draft model as of now :))
My Dad has been drinking beers non stop since last 2 days, and has been greeting all my childhood friends and then asking what is their name... I guess local amnesia has taken another victim.

I intend to make my room really cool and wacky, some cool amplifier connections, wacky compy trolley, FM radio, etc etc... not much ideas though... suggestions are always welcome...

Also I have a few furniture that the previous owner has left behind, lemme know if anyone wants them.

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to obedience and warmth.
In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you.
You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.
You would be forced to break up with someone who was insecure and in constant need of reassurance.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage pessimistically. You don't think happy marriages exist anymore.
In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

Kya kool hai hum :))

Many people ask me friends and not so great souls "yaar tu kabhi ghussa nahi hota kya"... I say hota hai kabhi kabhi...thoda time ke liye hota hai in the heat of matter or just my immediate reaction...
What do I do?? do I get even or fcuk the person's happiness.. well no... These are something which I find so 1987 kinda stuff.... I guess in today's world of AOL... wtf is dat... that's art of living... I normally try to discover humour in every situation, do a due diligence and do a post mortem of every situation, give the culprit the benefit of the doubt...  be a good listener, hear out, not jump to conclusions and then use the great mantra "Dil Dariya G### samundar" and inculcate forgiveness... I guess forgiveness sounds too godly something on those lines... or get yourself bribed to a treat or free drink :))
"One who travels light travels the farthest" - Old Zen saying.
So I guess one shouldn't burden one self with unnecessary baggage like jealousy, contempt,  extra pride ,envy, anger
covetousness... wow, I guess if we are able to get a few of this we all be known as the Enlightened One... wid a Halo or a Bulb over our head :))

WHY ARE PEOPLE MEAN?

Random surfing on Google yielded this...Martha Beck is a writer and has been on the Oprah Winfrey show, and all the gyan is courtesy Oprah's site..

WHY ARE PEOPLE MEAN?
By Martha Beck

Martha Beck Someone insults you (and your little dog, too). You can retaliate, whimper—or exercise your own vast power. Martha Beck shows you how to rewrite your own character.

Why Are People Mean?
The first time I saw a T-shirt that said "mean people suck," I thought, Now, there is a heartfelt sentiment, succinctly expressed. I only wished I'd been the author. I mention this because recently I've encountered several mean people, and I've had to remind myself that the concept of authorship is key to surviving these experiences.

I don't know about you, but my favorite ways of reacting to mean people are (1) getting mean right back or (2) lying down quietly to display the word welcome! written where my spine used to be. Annoyingly, my job constantly reminds me that there's a more responsible and effective way to live. That's how it is for us authors. I say "us" because you're an author, too. Not all of us write for publication, but every living person has the power of authorship when it comes to composing our lives. Meanness emerges when we believe that we have no such power, that we're passive receptors of life's vagaries. Inner peace follows when we begin responding to cruelty—our own and other people's—with the authority we've possessed all along.

Why are people mean? Here's the short answer: They're hurt. Here's the long answer: They're really hurt. At some point, somebody—their parents, their lovers, Lady Luck—did them dirty. They were crushed. And they're still afraid the pain will never stop, or that it will happen again.

There. I've just described every single person living on planet Earth.

The fact is that we've all been hurt, and we're all wounded, but not all of us are mean. Why not? Because some people realize that their history of suffering can be a hero's saga rather than a victim's whine, depending on how they "write" it. The moment we begin tolerating meanness, in ourselves or others, we are using our authorial power in the service of wrongdoing. We have both the capacity and the obligation to do better.

Kaal is Fcukall!!!

Orbit National Park, Tigers, Owls, Langoors, Scorpions, bats...... and of course 2 bimbo wid their heroes...

makes sense.. don't worry, Even after watching the whole movie you'll say WTF!!!

Here's da plot...
This is about project tiger ..... saving the wild beasts in the Corbett (orbit) national park.....the jungle is haunted and lotsa researchers and tourist are killed in mysterious circumstances....
2 baba- baby jodis and 2 morons visit the national for their own trip where they encounter death and suspense and some wild animals...

The movie typical of any dharma productions creates hype, gets people to da theatres and fool them big time....

the start and the end of the movie has an item number .... first by SRK- Malaika jodi and then by the 2 baba-bay jodis....

lara dutta and eesha deol are in the whole movie as if they are on MTV grind, I guess no one told them about the macchars and leeches in the jungle. Vivek Oberoi still in the halo that he can bash up Sallu, carries that in the movie I can bash anyone up... John Abraham has done a bit decent role no major dialogs rendered and made decent use of the Sony Viao in the movie...
Ajay Devgan still needs to clean his cigarette stains, I thought after Gangajal he would have cleaned , but then he is filmy kuch b kar sakta hai....

Overall its an ok movie I give it 5/10 for the sound effects and no songs and ok level of suspense..

spotted danny devito in a sari store in udaipur.....we did a road trip to north india, the local guides force you to visit the shops and see infinite sarees..this guy was really funny, I guess the ladies man :))..........I just installed picasa and hello with the blogger feature, makes posting pics real easy without the html jhanjhat :))  Posted by Hello

How to kill a Lion - banking style

ICICI method:
hire a lion give him hell a lot of work and pay him government salary .
Restructure his job, position, boss, colleagues, designation, location every
6 months.
Remove all lions above 40 from the organization or rename them " Goats ".
If he kills 2 goats a day, give him target of killing 20 elephants a day,
when there are just 10 elephants in the jungle.
lion dies of exhaustion, overkill and restructuring.

HDFC method:
hire a lion and ask him to meow like a cat .
give him lots of ESOPs and grass to eat.
he will die eventually of hope and starvation.

Citi method:
hire the lion, make him take 14 tests and tell him that if he doesn't score
> 60% he will lose the job. Ask him to extract 60 kg meat out of a 40 kg
goat.
lion dies of the strain?

ABN AMRO method:
hire the lion. give him high impossible targets and expect a premature
delivery of these targets. If the targets are delivered, clap for him in a
town hall and if not delivered humiliate him regularly. Lion either dies of
excitement or starts behaving like Tom hanks in Terminal.

IDBI method:
hire a lion, give him a salary of a cat...
Show him suspense thriller "Reverse merger of your Jungle - Part III"

the lion dies before joining....

StanChart method:
hire a lion, motivate him to outshine other lions in the jungle.
Load him with impractical targets and if he finds the prey
ensure jackals in the jungle snatch the prey and credit
lion dies in oblivion......

Kotak method....
hire a lion, load him with targets to focus on value instead of volume.
Every quarter change the style and make his life miserable
If he survives in the system reward him with a hefty bonus else if he leaves
profit of the bank improves along with EPS...

Indo-Pak freindship group...

In my earlier posts I had written about my views on the peace dividend.
To get the ball rolling I've started this yahoogroup for indians and pakistanis who believe in peace.
This group is my attempt to share ideas, thoughts, rants, raves, jokes across borders and into each others hearts and souls.
One can undo what the governments have done for 57 years but we can definitely start somewhere...
the journey begins here....

Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi ........

My first reaction was WTF, have I seen this movie before coz there was a movie by da same name. I dunno whether to call it a movie or a documentry on the Naxalbari-Socialist- Marxist-Hippy-Flower Power Genaration movie, but I sincerely liked Sudhir Mishra's attempt to bring about the Naxilite's story. Being a mallu I've always had uncles and folks kinda sympathising wid da communists and naxalbari student movements but I never knew it took so much guts and madness to do something like this...
I dunno where India is headed after seeing this movie.

this is wot rediff.com has to say..
Hazaaron Khwaishein is overwhelming!

Met our brothers from across da border.

I was at a Rotaract event for the felicitation of my friend Veena who has been elected the DRR (chief) of the Bombay Dist, met a few Pakistanis who came on an exchange visit. As part of an on going process between the clubs in India & Pakistan.
There were 5 Pakistani in the team, Drawn from different professions one businessman, one lawyer, one ad man, one shahid afridi look alike and last one I don't remember, all were really cool and very much at ease with us. Absolutely no negative vibes about any of them, I guess its da first time I hugged any Pakistani and also smoked a Pakistani Cigarette (Gold Leaves) taste very much like our Gold Flake.
Their crib was we send only our Software Programmers who I agree are not the best people to talk to. Maybe we should send our DJ's, yoga n reiki gurus, entrepreneurs, Item Bombs, Investments Managers, NEAT/BOLT dealers, Dabbawallahs etc.. our spectrum of Indians crazy yet lovable :))
There is an air of cautious optimism on both sides, lets do our bit for people to people contact.. I'm gonna write to them, create some online groups, shares ideas, views and crazy forwards on a regular basis....
I guess its a nice thing when the Governments on both sides realize the peace dividend.
My simple equation would be 1 Army tank = 10,000 schools , tell me which is better in the long run for south Asia.

I've beome a fan of the CPI (marxist)

communist party of india (marxist)

Why suddenly...
Some of the reasons why I find it cool is

They are a party with really strong principles
They have solid reasons n real issues to talk about in the parliament.... the aam aadmi issues
They don't do Rath Yatras or Trishul Diksha Diwas or Chintan Baithak or Maha Yagna to save India's Problems.
They don't kill fellow Indians to grab votes.
They aren't called hinduhridaysamrats or Loknayaks, They are called Comrades.
Comrade Prakash Karat is the new G.S and looks like he is gonna kick ass.
His Wife Com. Brinda Karat is one of the most beautiful and intelligent women politicians in India.
I think its high time India had an alternative to the Congress and BJP.
I think Che Guevara and Fidel Castro had real guts to take on da Yankees

They also have some bad points, more on that later..

Ravi Nair - RIP

Yesterday had been one of the saddest days of my life, My friend Rosh's Dad was killed in a railway accident between goregaon n jogeshwari...
Our entire building junta rushed to the Borivali Railway police station, where the cops told us to identify the body or wotever was left of it... really graphic .. really sad... mutilated body...
Infinite paperwork.. panchnama... questioning and other details.. but the cops were very good, polite and helpful... We shd stop bitching abt the cops for everything..I salute you guys n sry for stereotyping.

If you traveling from andheri and Borivali towards Virar or bhayandar, mira road towards churchgate for heavens sake go return or take a bus... never ever stand outside or walk on da tracks... Pls the name of God, Ishwar or Allah juss don't play wid the Trains in Bombay... Its something which is our best friend and also can be our greatest enemy...

Hitch -- Definite Dekko..

Awesome romantic comedy , saw it on a pirated VCD with gr8 print...
I give it 8/10, really original comedy ... Will Smith rocks and so does Eva Mendes.. Definitely hot..

Plot Outline: While helping his latest client woo the fine lady of his dreams, a professional "date doctor" (Smith) finds game doesn't quite work on the gossip columnist (Mendes) with whom he's smitten

Drop Ganguly and TEndlya

I think we should drop these two and get in Dinesh Mongia and VVS Laxman.

India leads 2-1 as I type but the Pakis are in devastating form and our over dependence on Sehwag has cost us....

Pathan and Zaheer rock... they atleast fought hard...

3 more ODI's to go... dekte hai :)

I saw compassion and selflessness today

I was in the Virar Train, the train had halted at Borivali station and was waiting for a mail train to pass... I saw a crippled kid crawling and dragging himself parallel to each compartment, I dint see a single soul give him any alms. A hijra who was seeing all this, buys a Vada Pav and gives it to the kid, No emotions, no expectance of any gratitude, as if it was some kinda duty to help.
I've always wondered we look upon them with suspicion and contempt, but they also have a story, a dark side which I guess no one really knows.

Cham Cham Bars

Though I dont find the idea of Ladies bars cool, the governments undue intrests in da ladies bars prompted me to post my rants and ramblings on the issue.. more on that later...

NIght LOver NL.....

This was one of the most happening places, will it open or not is all a big question??

One of the best ladies Bars in Bombay, Night lovers, opp Leela, Anderi(E).
Beer - 350 bucks
Waiters are well behaved compared to other places ( they dont stand in front you wid da gimme more face)

It frequented by most of the IT n BPO companies and Females also come at times.

Warren Buffet's Annual Shareholder Letter

Warren Buffet's Annual Shareholder Letter
Warren Buffett is the world second richest man... He hasnt done any rocket science way of making money, He juss made 20% each year, something that any college student or retired person can do... but the studdgiri is that he did that continously for 40 years :))

The 2004 annual report is out and the letter is available online.
It’s required reading for anyone running a company – for substance, organization, style, tone, and wit.
If you feel ambitious, you can (and should) read the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder letters going back to 1977.

101 rules for extreme metal!

awesome stuff sent by my rocker friend hippy.

01. You must listen to (and name) at least 100 metal bands (power metal not included) before you are extreme.

02. Hair must be shoulder length, longer, or completely shaved off.

03. Drummers must weigh either under 60kg, or over 140kg - No in betweens.

04. Band logos must be totally undecipherable.

05. Song tempos are only allowed to register under 40bpm (extreme), or over 240bpm (extreme).

06. Thank-you list must comprise of every extreme metal band in existence (even if you have never met the band or heard their music).

07. The police picture of your ex-vocalist’s suicide must be used for the next album cover.

08. Drummer must be limited to blast beats and grind beats (even at 40bpm)

09. Profess the glory of Satan, especially if you are an atheist.

10. Sing about ancient cultures, and invent your own language to sing in.

11. Develop cancer or a tumor of some type.

12. Refer to 1

13. Wear every manner of injury inflicting clothing - manacles, bullet
belts, spiky shin pads etc.

14. Sing about the dark lord and/or gore on your first album, and then
onto politics and life on all proceeding albums, apparently you 'have matured'.

15. Wear black. Always.

16. Drive a funeral car as transportation for the band.

17. Release an album, then a year later, re-release it with a bonus track
just to make people buy the album again.

18. Record twice as many songs as you plan to release, then ten year's later release the album as a collector's item.

19. Record a whole bunch of new songs, add a high frequency hiss, and cut the low frequencies, then release it as 'pre-band demo recordings'

20. Guitars must be shaped so that they may be used as a grievous weapon.

21. Never ever have the same band line up for any album or tour.

22. Feud with the band members that move on to other bands (good
publicity).

23. Pretend that you 'hail from Norway'.

24. Do as many side projects that are humanly possible in your extreme time budget. One band, at least, must feature a female singer (your wife, cause no one else is extreme enough).

25. Albums should either be less than thirty minutes, or exactly sixty six minutes and six seconds.

26. In summer, black clothing can be hand torn into singlets and shorts to deal with heat (NEVER use scissors)

27. Have a royal throne for a toilet seat/table seat/car seat etc.

28. Marry a girl with so many piercings, she has more metal in her than a Massey Fergusson tractor – and can never get through a metal detector at the airport.

29. Have 52 metal t-shirts - one for each week of the year.

30. Play only Jackson and/or B.C.Rich guitars.

31. The first letter of every album titles must start at A, and then progress through the alphabet. (Altars of Madness, Blessed Are the Sick, Covenant...)

32. Become a 'specialist producer' of extreme metal, and build your very own studio in the heart of the Norwegian forest (helps with Forest Metal).

33. Forest metal is running round a dark forest, with a $10 Casio Keyboard, and a $5 microphone, records your new 'extreme atmospheric project'

34. Sing about serial killers only after you've met one and formed a relationship with them.

35. Never play in key. Chromaticism is the only way.

36. Let keyboard players 'jump' from band to band (it’s the only jumping they're allowed to do).
37. Claim to have burnt down a church and gone to jail for it (even if you really haven't).

38. Say the word 'EXTREME' and cross your arms in a X shape when you shout it, as often as possible

39. Play the bass without a plectrum.

40. Play drums barefoot, or in white socks if feeling especially extreme.

41. Call everyone 'Sons of Satan' even if you are addressing a female.

42. Be involved in the porn industry in any way possible, preferably as an actor called 'Penetrator' or 'Frosty-Spire'

43. Play only Axis bass drum pedals.

44. Take speed to be the fastest band on earth.

45. Smoke weed to be the slowest band on earth.

46. Guitars must be tuned lower than Ab before they are considered extreme.

47. Guitar solos must not sound anything like Yngwie Malmsteen or blues – solos must be so fast that fingers bleed.

48. Resurrect shitty black metal bands, call yourself 'cult' and then release albums with the shittiest possible production (by referring to rule 33).

49. Television viewing media is restricted to 'The Simpsons' and 'Homicide'.

50. List 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' as your all time favourite movie, only after 'Debbie Does Dallas'.

51. Tour every country possible, but NEVER EVER New Zealand.

52. Support established extreme metal acts, become famous, and even bigger than these acts, then never have anything to do with them again.

53. Drummers: 3 bars of blast beats followed by 1 bar of drum fill. Repeat. Do not deviate from this pattern, failure to follow these instructions may make you less extreme.

54. Marshall amps suck - Mesa Boogie amps rule.

55. Never use your real name, claim your extreme parents gave you the name ‘Persecuter’ at birth.

56. Call your band 'The Next Generation in Extreme Metal' (don't forget to cross your arms) even if you sound like you came straight from the 80's.

57. Make sure your band name is the same as another band's name in
the other hemisphere.

58. Cite Darkthrone as a major influence (even if you have never heard them).

59. Have even more disturbing album artwork than the last 'yesterday' extreme band. Hire a professional uber-gore-meister-artist (primarily yourself - don't forget to change your name).

60. (a) Murder a person in another band to elevate you to extreme infamousness - publicity helps.

60. (b) Then write the rest of your albums from jail

61. Say that you've recorded at Morrisound Studios, Florida, USA, with Scott Burns as producer.

62. Organise tours with at least 9 bands on the bill - $6.66 tickets.

63. Have competitions on stage to see which of the nine bands can play the fastest.

64. Always have two (or more) bass drums.

65. Head band until you get told by the doctor that those headaches
indicate the possibility of serious brain damage. Carry on headbanging anyway because it is extreme.

66. When singing live, always do 'vocal bails' - do a low growl, because you know that when you go pussy high, you are going to fail it miserably.

67. Refer to 1.

68. Tell everyone that you are going to write all album material by yourself because the music and lyrics are headed in the wrong direction.

69. Join your wife's band.

70. Record an extreme metal video in ONLY ONE (1) of FOUR (4) possibly locations i) A Church, ii) A Graveyard, iii) A Forest, iv) A Castle.

71. If rule 70 ends up being too extensive, paint your band practice room black (it should be already, unless you are un-extreme), wear all black, and have different coloured instruments, so that viewers can only make out them, and your faces (which are white).

72. Bite a dove's head off (or substitute for any form of fowl).

73. All band photos must involve you holding a gun or axe.

74. All band photos must feature naked women looking like your loyal slaves.

75. Get rid of your drummer because he is too slow - get a drum machine instead.

76. Sing in as many different bands as you can possibly whore yourself too, and be totally un-committed to any of them. Unreliable as f@ck = extreme.

77. Record a Slayer cover.

78. After a band 'calls it a day', attempt to contact Rob Halford to start a new band.

79. Or alternatively, Phil Anselmo to resurrect a dead band.

80. Rip off as many samples from horror movies as possible to use in your extreme album. Copyright is for pussies.

81. Triggered drums are the only way to go, even if your snare sounds like a 6" tom.

82. Experience a heroin overdose, live through it, and say that you had to come back because Satan told you that you must piss more people off.

83. Say that you are a Satanist and that you only listen to black metal.

84. Say 'Morbid Angel is the best f@cking death metal band in the world".

85. A toilet is the best place to keep beer and alcohol chilled.

86. Kill your offspring if they become house/trance DJ's.

87. Admit you used to air guitar to KISS and that Gene Simmons is your
God.

88. Listen and air drum to Motley Crue's 'Dr. FeelGood' album (yes its ok to do that).

89. Splatter as much fake blood on stage and your audience as stated in the rules of accordance in hiring your venue.

90. Wait, rules are for pussies.

91. Try to get your long hair stuck in as many people's mouths as possible in the audience.

92. Sing so brutal and low, so that people, who even know your lyrics, can't sing along, thus sound pussy in comparison to you. Exert your Extreme Dominance.

93 Recording a jam session in a blizzard on the snowy slopes of Norway is part of the pre-production for your new album.

94. Destroy as many hotel rooms as possible while on tour.

95. Beware of power metal album covers that look like black metal album covers - deception can be brutal.

96. Your middle name must be that of a weapon, succeeded by the word 'The'. eg. "John 'The Missle/Axe/Torpedo' Smith".

97. Wearing leather pants means they must be tight enough to show a dick print.

98. Corpse paint is compulsory when meeting the in-laws.

99. Lay down the smack on all people not as extreme as you, exert your dominance extremely.

100. Work/Live by a steel factory and claim that 'metal has been in my blood from a young age'.

101. The most important rule of extreme metal: “In order to create art of the most truest form, one must live it.” Kill yourself and die, and only then can you write and perform the most extreme of extreme metal possible.

exactly before any important timing of the match DD show infinite crappy ads

A fund that could glitter

The Hindu Business Line : A fund that could glitter

If one goes by the gold mania prevailig in our country today,I wont be surprised if gold bonds n equities are worn & hung around by Desis during weddings and other occasions..

On a serious note it a good step towards creating a bigger investor pool in our nation where only 2-3% invests in equities n mutual funds, this would lead them to many other opportunites.

awesome art site.... :))

FM Chidambaram rocks

The budget was one of the shortest n most edited given by any finance ministers in recent times... no quotes no shayri's no "main hoon na" no jokes... to da points in your face.. real busines...
India has a wonderful team at the helm of affairs Manmohan,PC, Montek and Jairam Ramesh.. Sam Pitroda, I belive is also some where in the background. i think its a good time to invest in India, We have a billion reasons to be bullish.

The best thing I liked about the budget was the 10 Rs tax on any cash withdrawal over 10000 bucks... or 0.1 % .. the entire industry and the political world is up in arms about it... they have totally forgotten the other serious proposals n taxes. Reminds me to the joke about the bicycle repair man and the pakistanis.

Vajpayee and Bush are sitting in a bar. A guy walks in and asks the Barman,

"Isn't that Bush and Vajpayee?"
The barman says "Yep, thats them." So the guy walks over and says,"Hello, what
are u guys doing?"
And Bush says, "We're planning world war 3"
And the guy says, "Really? What's going to happen?"
And Vajpayee says, "Well, we're going to kill 14 million Pakistanis and a
bicycle repairman."
And the guy exclaimed, "A bicycle repairman?!!!"
So Vajpayee turns to Bush and says, " See, I told you no-one would worry about
the 14 million Pakistanis!"

And yes the Sensex & Nifty are a bit low after hitting an all time high yesterday.

Did New York Orchestrate The Asian Tsunami?

Did New York Orchestrate The Asian Tsunami?

Some deadly conspiracy theory suggesting some thing only Uncle Sam could do.. I don't fully believe in it but at the same time some doubts still linger in my mind.
Its often said to find the perpetrators of any action, one should find the one who derives the most benefits out of it... In this say sadly the markets dint crash much nor did Oil prices rise..
I guess its mother nature at her very worst... no Uncle Sam could have done it.

Epica Awards - Cool Ad on Bapu

Epica Awards

An awesome Ad made on the Man we call the father of the Nation.

Though Gandhi's philosophies and fundas may not seem right for this century but I definitely think the would need more of his teaching coz da world needs more truth and reconciliation.

Some call him a traitor, a British agent, a baniya whatever his crictics may call but I don't think anybody else could have unified this huge landmass called India better than him.
Bapu rocks ...

They say 3 gujjus were responsible for the situation were'in today jinnah, patel, Gandhi :):)

Sensex ends at all time High!!!

The Sensex closed at 6679.33 a new closing high. The previous closing high was 6679.20 touched on January 3, 2005. The Nifty closed up 16.20 points or 0.78% at 2098.25.
The mood is bullish but last 10 minutes crash wiped out most of the gains of the Mid-caps.

All IT scrips seems to be back in vogue... all K10 scrips are back in action after lying low n dormant for 2-3 yrs of so :))

Sometimes i wonder, instead of education the FIIs and others governments about investing in India, we should educate our nation about investment opportnities in the equities and other sectors. I guess only a fraction of 100 crore people know about the stock markets and mutual funds.
I think India has all the money which can be tapped to make India a even more potent global force to reckon with :):)

till then let the Teji wind blow on.........

SMS Karma :))

Karma
Cause and Effect. From an absolute standpoint, karma is the circumstance of the moment. Relatively, it is the endless chain of cause and effect that defines the future events of an individuals life.

SMS
A service that allows users to send text-based messages from one device to another

This is what Google says about Karma & SMS, but I think its definitely something much more than a simple act of sharing a message or spending a buck to communicate.

I send many sms's in a day (Reliance free SMS scheme), I send to my friends, colleagues, bldg junta, friends of friends & da who's who of the SMS forwarding world.
Today I got da same SMS I sent to my friend a few days ago 4 times from 4 different friends and 2 calling to check whether I got and and 1 trying to explain da joke :))... this vicious circle continued a dozen times day and night and if the network goes berserk god only help you, you can raise the frequency to the power of 10..

SMS is da tool not only for romance but its the new mantra for Forex dealers n Stock market dealers, matka operators, hawala agents, pimps n fixers, spreading rumours and the possible shady things one can think about...
I think the top 5 SMS usage by Indians would be for
Forwarding jokes ( adult jokes, circulate more)
Stupid shyaris which no one understands
television contests (Either to win prize or have ur name on the Channel ticker)
Romance/gossip
spreading rumours
Things like SMS M-commerce,gaming,marketing, chat, research, alerts are picking up, would surely be on the top 5 in about 6 months.
Itching to sms.. nahi kya :))

Education??

"A poor, ill educated man created billion dollar Reliance industry. Two business graduates from Stanford and Wharton Business School, busy breaking it up. That's education".
