Did New York Orchestrate The Asian Tsunami?

Did New York Orchestrate The Asian Tsunami?

Some deadly conspiracy theory suggesting some thing only Uncle Sam could do.. I don't fully believe in it but at the same time some doubts still linger in my mind.
Its often said to find the perpetrators of any action, one should find the one who derives the most benefits out of it... In this say sadly the markets dint crash much nor did Oil prices rise..
I guess its mother nature at her very worst... no Uncle Sam could have done it.

Epica Awards - Cool Ad on Bapu

Epica Awards

An awesome Ad made on the Man we call the father of the Nation.

Though Gandhi's philosophies and fundas may not seem right for this century but I definitely think the would need more of his teaching coz da world needs more truth and reconciliation.

Some call him a traitor, a British agent, a baniya whatever his crictics may call but I don't think anybody else could have unified this huge landmass called India better than him.
Bapu rocks ...

They say 3 gujjus were responsible for the situation were'in today jinnah, patel, Gandhi :):)

Sensex ends at all time High!!!

The Sensex closed at 6679.33 a new closing high. The previous closing high was 6679.20 touched on January 3, 2005. The Nifty closed up 16.20 points or 0.78% at 2098.25.
The mood is bullish but last 10 minutes crash wiped out most of the gains of the Mid-caps.

All IT scrips seems to be back in vogue... all K10 scrips are back in action after lying low n dormant for 2-3 yrs of so :))

Sometimes i wonder, instead of education the FIIs and others governments about investing in India, we should educate our nation about investment opportnities in the equities and other sectors. I guess only a fraction of 100 crore people know about the stock markets and mutual funds.
I think India has all the money which can be tapped to make India a even more potent global force to reckon with :):)

till then let the Teji wind blow on.........

SMS Karma :))

Karma
Cause and Effect. From an absolute standpoint, karma is the circumstance of the moment. Relatively, it is the endless chain of cause and effect that defines the future events of an individuals life.

SMS
A service that allows users to send text-based messages from one device to another

This is what Google says about Karma & SMS, but I think its definitely something much more than a simple act of sharing a message or spending a buck to communicate.

I send many sms's in a day (Reliance free SMS scheme), I send to my friends, colleagues, bldg junta, friends of friends & da who's who of the SMS forwarding world.
Today I got da same SMS I sent to my friend a few days ago 4 times from 4 different friends and 2 calling to check whether I got and and 1 trying to explain da joke :))... this vicious circle continued a dozen times day and night and if the network goes berserk god only help you, you can raise the frequency to the power of 10..

SMS is da tool not only for romance but its the new mantra for Forex dealers n Stock market dealers, matka operators, hawala agents, pimps n fixers, spreading rumours and the possible shady things one can think about...
I think the top 5 SMS usage by Indians would be for
Forwarding jokes ( adult jokes, circulate more)
Stupid shyaris which no one understands
television contests (Either to win prize or have ur name on the Channel ticker)
Romance/gossip
spreading rumours
Things like SMS M-commerce,gaming,marketing, chat, research, alerts are picking up, would surely be on the top 5 in about 6 months.
Itching to sms.. nahi kya :))

Rickshaw! Hate em or like em... Ignore... no way!!!!!!!!!

You can hate them, like them but cant just ignore them.. the rickshaws... I love talking to them n sharing views on anything from mythology to cricket to elections in UP/Bihar... most of them are well read n aware and the best guides on latest music n ladies bars in the city and food places in places you never imagined.

Auto drivers of Bombay rock any day.. Bangalore sucks big time.. maha chodus they are!!
my post just appeared on this cool blog for rickshaw in south Asia :))
Rickshaw!
this is what they say about the blog

This blog collects the poetry, phrases, expressions, and words found on the back of Rickshaws.

The Rickshaws (auto-rickshaws, cycle rickshaws, jinrikshaws), minibuses, trucks and other commercial vehicles of South Asia are moving works of art. Much has been made of the colorful paint jobs they sport. The poetry that decorates them has often been collected. But the inscriptions on the back of Rickshaws are also an expression of the uncensored id of South Asia.

Quote of the day

"There's a new medical crisis. Doctors are reporting that many
men are having allergic reactions to latex condoms. They say they
cause severe swelling. So what's the problem?"
- Jay Leno

Juss a thought.....

I was crawling on some blog netork n happend to read a comment on harness the idle power of the corporate world...
I do think that a gaming interface/environment can be ported to the corporate world. A corporate game interface/environment, if done correctly, would generate amazing productivity improvements and internal competition/cooperation. The best games already include IM/e-mail / auctions / trading / (with add-on)voice / competition / ad-hoc groups(guilds and parties) / rankings / status /professions / etc.
I sincerely feel 80% of the people using the systems in office are lying idle, if they are given the chance to may money and do wot they like, stuff like gambling, laying bets, help govt systems n local panchyat systems from the idle office space...
create a world of grid computing (eg. SETI Project) to help governments in Asia n Africa...
A world of help... We love helping people if we have the time.... don't we?
I'm waiting for a day when someone can start it... or maybe i will :))

Sometimes I wonder!!

I'm not da kinda person who expects an acknowledgements for every deed I do but at times I do wonder about the kinda people who exist in da world of ours...

Some people remember you when they need you in their times of problem and forget you when have used you or have you task done... some thing like a kaddipatta they say..they forget you when they have a nice time... I guess everyone has these experiences.. I guess one remembers these things to move on in life and not to repeat this knowingly or unknowingly wid another soul...

Never ever work your ass out for any cause however close it may seem to your heart... you maybe seen as a desperate and someone without any avenues...People may take you for granted...

There are also some absolute strangers, who will go out of their way to help you... watch out for them... they maybe probably a gujju or a marwari (don't go by popular perception)

why am I writing this??
I guess I'm damn bored have 3 days of holidays... my fridge is under repairs... sania mirza lost to Serena... West Indies unlucky for the zillionth time after knocking da aussies at 45/5 ....
not actually ... I guess one has to get a bit serious in life.. get priorities sorted out.. not have much hopes n expectations from friends ..
Life is not always bullish.... it can be bullshit too!!

da eventful week.....

If at all there was an eventful week, it was the second week of jan'05.... this week I left MyZus, a company which was much more than jus another place of work for me... something which I always believed would change da world n change my life.I did have the opportunity to work wid a wonderful team over the last 4 years. Learnt lotsa things from everyone the top bosses, investors, colleagues to sawant (some one who plays so many multiple roles,I just don't have a designation)

I've taken up a position as a day trading dealer at a friends place. Decided to seek Baba's blessing before take up this assignment, 9 of my friends incl my brother went to Shirdi and Shani Singhnapur.
Its been nearly a century since Baba left us wid a simple message "Sabka Maalik Ek" .. sadly the world still hasn't yet been able to understand it...

More details about Sai and teachings..

http://www.shrisaibabasansthan.org

Shri Sai Baba is revered as one of the greatest saints ever seen in India, endowed with unprecedented powers, and is worshipped as a God incarnate. (SAI meaning Sakshaat Ishwar) - GOD THE ABSOLUTE

This mysterious Fakir first made HIS appearance in Shirdi as a youth and remained there throughout His long life. HE transformed the lives of those who met Him and continuously is doing so even after His Samadhi in 1918 for those whose hearts are touched by His love and who pray and call Him at any emergency in life for HIS blessings.

Baba stated that His mission is to “give blessings” without discrimination to all, and He proves it in myriad ways by healing the sick, saving lives, protecting the vulnerable, averting accidents, granting offspring, facilitating financial gain, bringing people into harmony within themselves and with each other and, above all, in effecting the spiritual evolution and transformation of those who came to him as the last resort.

Baba is, as one of His contemporary devotees put it, “The embodiment of the Supreme Spirit lighting the sadhakas (seekers') path by His every word and action”.

To His devotees, Baba is nothing less than a GOD. This has been a matter of experience and not imaginary.

“I look on all with an equal eye”

An outstanding aspect of Sai Baba is that He is beyond distinctions of religion, caste or creed. He embodied all religions and preached the Universal religion of Love.

Devotees of all faiths find their meeting point in Sai and people from all communities and all walks of life are united by the great love and reverence Baba inspires in them. Baba had great regard for His Hindu devotees and their Gurus and He responded to their needs and permitted worship according to the Hindu and other religious rituals. At the same time His dwelling place was a Masjid (Mosque) and the name of Allah was ever on His lips. HE described Himself as in Service to GOD (ALLAH) and as a soul ever remembering ALLAH -(YAD - A - HAKKA)

People today flock Shirdi in ever-increasing numbers to pay homage to the Divine and to experience the truth of Baba’s promise that He would be active in answering devotees' prayers even from His tomb. Like Ten Commandments BABA has given eleven assurances to humanity for welfare.

Baba said that He was a slave in the service of those who loved Him that He was ever living to help those who turn to Him and that He has to take care of His children day and night. HE then taught values of total surrender to the Almighty Master (ALLAH MALIK EK- The only ONE) and experience his grace.

In coming to Baba’s Shirdi His children experience the truth how BABA unfailingly fulfils His commitments to HIS devotees by coming to their rescue in times of crisis.
