Mandavli time in Gujarat

Gujarat offers an olive branch to Aamir

So funny, I guess these guys were scared that Bollywood wud fuck their happiness and not show movies.
Gujarat has already gone nuts due to Booze being banned ,
Can you imagine the plight of these guys without booze and movies :))

I think Bollywood deserves a pat on the back for supporting Aamir and clarifying what he exactly meant.

For those who came in late : Aamir is supporting the rehab of the victims of the Narmada Dam and not the Narmada Dam construction.

Also Hrithik Roshan has written a long letter in support of Aamir

http://ww1.mid-day.com/news/city/2006/may/138301.htm

As for me personally I don't believe in Narendra Modi's policies on religion & anti- Muslim stand but I like his agendas on economic development and governance for his state.

This is what will happen in the next few weeks.
The entire film industry will fly down to Amdavad and do Jamboree Bollywood show with the CM as chief guest and Aamir will shake hands.... Puppy Shappy et al...

... After all we are a filmy nation :)

Bar girls to dance for anti-quota students

Bar girls to dance for anti-quota students

This is another reason why I like the Bar girls.

On a day when neither the ruling Congress, BJP, Left, SP, Samata, Mamta, Jaya, Shiv Sena have not even bother to meet the students the Brave bar girls are fighting for the students.

Many of them may not have gone to schools or colleges but they have decided to give it a fight.

There is a nice saying "Insaan bura nahi hota, Waqt Bura hota hai"
In times of need one does get help from unexpected sources.

I hope the total hypocritical double standard Gr8 Indian Madhyam Varg decides to wake up and stops wanking!!

'Best Home' Contest

sifymax   has announced an exciting "Best Home" contest for residents of Bangalore on  www.bangalorelive.in
To take part in the contest, residents of Bangalore have to simply upload videos and photographs of their homes onto the website. They can also request for their homes to be featured on the website by sending 'contact' as sms to 4545. The Best Home -chosen by votes of visitors to the site will win  furniture  worth 1 lakh.

I like the idea, junta can cog ideas from others houses and decide what to do and not do with your homes :))

I wish Bombay had competitions for craziest home, most violent home, abusive home, bithcy home, Sexiest Home, Crowded Home... That would make one helluva reality show :).

Talking more about Home, for all kinda home videos go to Yourtube.com, Metacafe, Google Video.

Western Line - Train Chaos!!

I'm really fed up with the local trains I want a spaceship to get to office.

Borivali station is being revamped and a new platform(#7) is inaugurated.
This is what is being happening since last week during my travel ordeal between Borivli & Lower Parel.
  • Over ten thousand people are waiting for 8:41 on platform No 3, The announcer announces "Local train platform number 7 pe aayegi... people run helter skelter....Sadist Announcer repeats again Ghadi nirdarit platform pe ayege.. i.e No3... Repeat helter skelter drama.
  • Trains are delayed at least 20-30 mins
  • Hazzar people are back from their vacations and adding to the crowd
  • Fans have stopped working since 1982.
  • Trains stop at usual stops between Kandivali- Borivali, Goregaon (near Charsi adda), Malad Subway, Santa Cruz fatak, Bandra Creek.
  • Everyone is standing on one leg and trying to read Economic times.
  • The anger level is at an all time high and people are bashing up each other for no reason.
After all this struggle you run, brisk walk, cab, bus and reach office  sweating stinking and place yourself in front of the AC.

I have decided to leave early to office and leave late from office rather have a few drinks and travel when the trains are empty.

Its a real sad state of affairs where 5 million people are traveling worse than animals and no one is even writing about them leave solving our problems...
I wonder if it would have helped if the rail commuters were a Lok Sabha Constituency or we were NBA or OBC/Sc/ST/Dalit vote bank!!

Achuth & DICK

Gaurav Sabnis : Achuthanandan will be Kerala's Chief Minister.

So now whenever Keralites are bugged about the government and they want to let off some steam, they can justifiably say,

"Our Chief Minister is Achut!"

Adding further to that if Karunakaran would have won, Mallus could have cribbed our CM is a DICK.

for those who came in late DICK = Democratic Indira Congress Karunakaran
