Dattatreya Reopens :))

I loved eating Misal , Sabudana Vada & Piyush here ..He has a funy veg Samosa which I never figured out the taste. It was one of my favorite joints when I used to work in Shivaji Park.
Once am back will say hello to the guys there.. There is one Raddiwala there where I used to stand and read all the Comics and Magazine :)
I think Thackeray get 10 points for reviving it.

The other Cool Joints in the area are Saibini (Malwani Food), Fansikar, Yeti, Prakash, Aswad, Surti (Samosa & Alluvadi, chinese pattice), Oven Fresh and ofcourse the Frankiewala near Shivaji Park :))

I think Prakash Wagle should open a few outlets via the franchise method and chill-out on his retirement... Come to Dubai, Kai Manhtoss :))

    no doubt about the taste stuff u've written about.
    But i've not understood the fiasco over his hotel ... i guess the building is quite old and need renovation urgently ... is Dattatreya oposing it ? then its wrong yaar ...

    That raddiwala is where i still read comics/books .... although my wife started calling me raddiwala becuz of that ;-)

    I guess u've missed couple of cool joints like Golden Irani, Ulhas.
    I hate ovenfresh converted into Veg joint :-(
    (Some gujju/jain has taken over ... )

    mayavi : ovenfresh ?? shittt whats the world coming to... The raddiwala now has become damn chapter he i heard charges ridicusouly amounts in the name of antique.

    fizakutty : This guy misal is like the Pune style of Misal not the usual Bombay style of chana-watana and oil n gravy :))
