I saw a mallu movie in theatre after more than 16 years. Boredom makes you explore the unexplored.
The Tiger is a mallu masala movie full of action and general stunts.. played by Suresh Gopi ( ala Sunny Deol of the south)
The whole movie revolves around his heroics he bashes up goondas at will, says non stop dialogs, pulls up stunts at will in slow motion, shows his clicched fist to the baddes 'up urs jaisa'.
There are no songs.

Only In Kerala can an overweight 100 kg plus actor play a hero and get box office hits.
Somethings that unite mallus world over are Smokes, Booze, Politics, Mammotty & Mohanlal.
And yes we are Filmy!!
I love my city and my life literally revolves around (parallel at times) it.This is gonna be my modest attempt to share info about Bombay's people, its places, markets, maidans, institutions, transport systems, politicians, socialites, food and eating habits, sports, business, underworld, fashion and life. I shall also post Stock market tips, News and Rumours which I normally get from my many friends and sources.
Very well described Suresh Gopi but what about the mallu heroines :D....lol
ReplyDeletegood...I will try to explore too
cheers
pure meteor : The Tiger never dies... he just takes a sabbathical :))
ReplyDeletefiza : mallu heroines are also really cool... eligibility is atleast waistline of 30 ".. bigger the better....
I think Shobana was the only heroine I liked :)
OMG dont tell me ur a mallu , was under the immpression that u are a Tam,
ReplyDeleteMallu movies - wow if had company here in bombay i wud have loved to catch a flick but unfortunately i aint so popular with the mallu junta here. Although mallu moives show time in the theater nxt to my place is 9 am every Sunday I still wud have taken the pains to go for it only if I had a mallu company *sigh*
Unfortunately i hve to satisfy myself with the movies they put in Asianet and Surya :((
viewer : Asianet and Kairali are timepass though I havent watched it in a while... I'm gonna start the "ADIPOLI Movie Klub" for people who wanna watch mallu movies in Bombay. I'm surpised why Bombay has not many mallu VCD shops like Banglore and Gelf.
ReplyDeletepuremeteor : I guess there is dearth of Mallu Talent after Shobana, we need to do a Mallu Talent Search soon :)) like they say Beauty Maltsaram :)
koi update nahi........??? koi hai???
ReplyDeletetoo good :-) 100 kgs and a hero - and you should say "tobacco" not "smoke". That will cover 100%
