Chaurasia Bhelwallah

My local bhelwallah near my office. He is usually around in the evening at Sun Mill compound.

The Sev puri is one of the best in Bombay and the Bhel is good too..

Costs : 7 Bucks each.

I'm always of the view that these small one person Bhelwallah are zillion times much better, economical and tastier than the Vithal Bhelwallah's and Chowpatty Bhelwallah's...

    [drool drool] I love chaat and like you say its always better with the thelavalaas . .. if you go towards VT (or CST as its called now) try omlette-pav just outside by the bus stand

    I second the small 'one man stall' comment...... I like small operations, especially the ones by the road - in Malaysia we got plenty. Not so much bhelwallah, but other foodstuffs. ;)

    Aah, reminds me of my childhood days in Kolkata which has the best jhaalmuri and puchkas (pani puris in mumbai) in entire country!

    Miss them in Blore :(

    swamysk : I agree wid ya VT has the best anda burji, half fry and doble amlet wid extra mirch masala and garam tawa pavs :))

    kurious : I guess its due the entreprsing nature of asians, and Malaysia has been a favourite spot for migaration for indians since centuries :)

    ritesh : I like da Jhalmuri's too... the best thing is the mustrad oil in it... :)), But Jhal murri is much like the Sukkha Bhel in Bombay, am i rite??
